In-field Development Platform and Demonstration System
The Astrix X3 Portable Server makes an excellent workstation for developers and in-field scientific computing. The three displays, keyboard and touchpad mouse fold together into a compact package which fits easily into a ruggedized carrying case on wheels and sets up with no additional peripherals. Based upon the Intel 5400 chipset with dual processors and up to 24 GB of RAM, this system has plenty of throughput for Infiniband and 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks as well as up to two additional GPU boards (independent of the 3-screen display).
